The Kickstarter campaign for Guilty Gear -Strive- The Board Game has completed at $439,003 raised. With an original goal of $150,000, that means it came $290,003 over the funding goal! That's 292%!

We can only hope this success gives them momentum as they negotiate for a bigger retail release, as well as rights to create the Strive DLC characters. Brad commented on this in the Countdown stream;

Brad: "Right after this project, I'm going to immediately go to Arc System Works and be like 'Look at all this, look how we did, let's make some retail scale boxes, and let's make the DLC 2 and 3', get a contract in place so we can do that stuff. I think we'll have a lot more coming out for Guilty Gear."
Brad: "Nothing confirmed, I still have to clear the Arc Zaibatsu licensing hurdles, but I am excited to do more with Guilty Gear, at the very least making this available in retail size packaging."

The game is available in a standard edition and a deluxe edition, the latter including acrylic standees, extra coins, and a beautiful extra neoprene playmat.

Season 6 and Season 5 are also available as addons! The $500 Ultimate pledge includes the deluxe edition of Guilty Gear as well as Season 5 and Season 6, in additon to acrylic standees for all seasons, which are only included in this Ultimate pledge.

Yesterday at 3pm, Level 99 Games published the official Tabletop Simulator module for Guilty Gear -Strive- The Board Game. This means every character is fully playable online!

The immediate response has been greatly positive, with special praise given to the faithfulness of their adaptation and the potential for each character's creative plays.

A recent conversation in the Level 99 Games Discord has hinted at a possible rebalance and reprint of Season 2.

Brad: "We were talking at EVO a bit about a reprint of S2 and tweaking a few cards if we did a reprint, but I don't know if I'd call that a "rebalance".

Multiple people have said Season 2 would need templating changes and more than 'tweaking a few cards' to reach modern balance standards. Nothing further is known about this.

Level 99 Games has officially announced Guilty Gear -Strive- The Board Game, which is the next season of Exceed!

Strive's base roster including DLC season 1 are included. Despite the name and improved aesthetics, the game is still Exceed, and is fully compatible with other seasons, just like usual.

The demo is available for free at Level 99 Games' official website, as well as the rulebook and tutorial videos. It will be coming to Kickstarter on August 22nd.

Level 99 Games is a guest at EVO, the world's premier fighting game tournament convention, at Arc System Work's booth. Alongside running demos for Exceed, Brad stated they will be announcing their new project, in collaboration with Arc System Works.

Brad revealed that demos of this new project will be given out for free at the booth and will be available for free on the official website (shipping not included), starting 10am on Friday, August 4th.

During the Q&A section of the June 26^th Level Up Live, youtube user Jonathan Is Champ asked "What about season 7 of exceed??" Brad and Marco of Level 99 Games responded;

Marco: "Chat is asking 'What about Season 7 of Exceed?' Just you wait, that's the answer to that one! Just you wait!"
Brad: "We're going to announce news about Exceed in the near future. So wait up, you won't be disappointed."
