Exceed Fighting System (aka Exceed) is a crossover fighting game, in card game form! It has the depth and interactivity of a fighting game with the variety and strategy of a card game, all in one.
Each product "powered by the Exceed Fighting System" is completely standalone AND cross-compatible, so any fighter can fight any other, regardless of origin!
Pick a character, represented by a 30 card deck, and fight your foe one-on-one - no arcade stick or deck building needed.
As a crossover game, Exceed features fighters from tons of franchises, like Shovel Knight, Street Fighter, Guilty Gear Strive and Dead Cells, with each fighter meticulously detailed to capture their nuance - and any fighter can fight any other, regardless of origin!
...and more!
Just like a fighting game, Exceed is deeply nuanced and infinitely replayable. At all skill levels it gets better every time you play, even with the same characters!
Hit attack cards fill your Gauge, which is spent to use your powerful Ultra attacks. Hadokens put themself back on top of your draw deck, so you can spam them in a projectile war. Hitting the opponent with a Sweep makes them discard a card, simulating knockdown by removing their options. Overheads ignore armor, letting them bypass defensive moves like Block.
Strategies and subtleties from both fighting games and card games fuse together for perfect 1-on-1 battle.
You can play online using the free module for Tabletop Simulator! It's officially endorsed and rigorously maintained by the community. You can also play for free in your browser via the Exceed Guilty Gear Fan Game project!

Brad:We haven't announced everything for 2025 just yet—only the first part of the year. There should be some news in the coming months.
